I’ve been asked this question countless times:
“How often should I log-in to Google Analytics to see the reports?”
The only answer I can give is: “Well, it depends.”
Yes, but on what? It depends on three interrelated things:
💰How much do you invest in digital marketing, especially in digital advertising?
💰Is your website and revenue generated by it important for your business?
💰If things go wrong, how much money do you lose in a day or a week?
If you don’t invest in digital advertising and if the website isn’t generating any sales, it doesn’t really matter.
If you invest 10 000 € / month in digital advertising and the website brings you 100 000 € / month it is a completely different situation.
Only you can answer these questions:
- How much money are you willing to lose by not using Google Analytics?
- How much will it hurt you if you lose one day’s or one week’s revenue?
